| Age Groups | 50m & 100m Events will be seeded by entry times and not age groups to ensure swimmers of equal ability are swimming together |
| Entry Limit | Due to time constraints please only enter each swimmer in a maximum of 4 individual events. They can be a mix of strokes and distances. If we have extra time swimmers can be entered into more events on the day. |
| Relays | As relays are only for fun, teams can be made up of any mix of boys & girls. Also swimmers can swim up for relays. The aim is to allow most if not all swimmers a chance to swim a relay. |
| Points | 6 points will be awarded to the fastest club in each event, 5 points to the next fastest club etc. Points based on each clubs fastest swimmer in that event. Only events with at least one swimmer from each club will be given points. |
| Entry Times | Swimmers must be slower than the Leinster Grade 6 time standards to enter. If a swimmer has achieved grade 6 times in one stroke they may still swim the other 3 strokes. Coaches, in the interest of fairness please make sure you check swimmers’ times. The Hy-Tek file includes slower than times so coaches can clearly see if a swimmer is eligible. |
Wexford are hoping to have a festive gala and have asked parents and time keepers etc to wear Santa hats etc – would be nice to have a good group down there.
